Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Certification and Preparation Seminar Across the Life Span

Time: Registration: 7:30 am – 8 am; Program: 8am – 5 pm

Faculty: Dierdre D. Rockeymoore, MSN, RN, APRNCNS, BC has an extensive background in psychiatric nursing. She has taught in schools of nursing and has many years of practice in various psychiatric settings. Her roles have included staff nurse, consultant, administrator in various settings.

Ames Heigh reserves the right to substitute speaker if necessary.

Credits: a total of 8 contact hours will be awarded if entire program is attended.

  • Therapeutic modalities and Interven-tions including pharmacotherapeutics
  • Updated special populations
  • Leadership
  • Legal issues
  • Test-taking strategies and tips
  • Evaluation, Questions & Answers, Awarding of Certificates

If taking class online, the evaluation must be submitted immediately follow-ing the class to receive the certificate of completion and earned 8 contact hours.

This course will be interactive and include test questions and activities to practice and enhance learning.

A pre and post test will be given to help the learner identify areas they need to study.
